MOLDINGS & TRANSITIONS

Choosing the right floor moldings and trim is cruial to the overall aesthetic of any room. The purpose of moldings and trim is to give your floor a professional, finished appearance. This is especially cruial for areas of your floor that either meet the wall, or transition to another room. Our moldings are not designed to be an exact match, they are carefully blended to complement the color and finish of your floor.

     END CAPS

     End caps are ideal for concealing expansion spaces along a vertical object that can not be framed, such as sliding glass doors or fireplaces.

    

      STAIR NOSE

      To provide a professional finished look to your stairway, a stair nose is a must have for any stairway that is a part of your flooring installation.

     T-MOLD

     T-Molds are generally used between surfaces of equal or similar height, for example between a hallway and a bedroom. As a rule of thumb, if there is less than 1/4' variance 

     between the two surfaces go with a T-mold.

 

     REDUCER

     While a T-mold is ideal between surfaces of similar height, a reducer (also a transition piece) is your go-to when transitioning between two surfaces with a different height. 

     If there is more than a 1/4 difference between the two surfaces, a reducer is probably your best choice.

   

   BASE BOARD/ SKIRTINGS

   A wall base creates a formal border transition between your flooring and your walls.

   It provides a clean, finished look while covering the flooring expansion gap.
